The Vision
“Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing.”
— Richard James Molloy

Our Vision.

Our first and greatest command from God is to love Him with all our heart, all our soul, and all our mind (Matthew 22:37-38). Ministry to the Lord comes before ministry to people. The first love is for Jesus. Praise is a calling given to every believer.

This people have I formed for myself, they shall show forth my praise. Isaiah 43:21(KJV)

It is up to the church to pray Gods will into the earth. Jesus said:
I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV)

Jesus has given us the authority to release His will on earth through prayer. We as believersthe churchare to stop the works of the devil through prayer and intercession.

The church is a community of believers. It is a familyloving together and caring for each other. We are a body with many members (I Corinthians 12:12). Every member of the church needs the other members. God uses each of us to supply something to someone else.

The first believers in Acts Chapter 2 shared their possessions with one another. They ate together, prayed together and worshipped God together.

Foundational to all that is done in the church is the Word of God. The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher are given by God to train and equip the believers to do the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).

The Word of God builds and equips believers to be and do what God desires. The vision of Firebrand Assembly Church is to set lives on fire for Jesus by the constant nurturing of believers until they grow into full maturity.

The focus has been winning the lost. Were going after the lost. We believe this is the call of God for every born again believer.

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 (KJV)
The church is called to proclaim good news, heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, and set the captive free (Luke 4:18). We have the answer to the Worlds problems and we must share Him. The purpose of the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the power to witness (Acts 1:8). All that we do in worship, prayer, fellowship and teaching is preparation for evangelism. God gave Jesus because He loved the world. His love has not changed; we are to go to the unsaved with this message of Gods love.

Hebrews 10:23 KJV
[23] Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 4:14 KJV
[14] Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
